Nature of the Work: Employees in this role work under close supervision of the Employee Relations Manager. The majority of tasks performed are process oriented. The ER Associate may assist higher level Employee Relations staff with sensitive personnel matters and/or internal investigations but do not independently handle them.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21.53 - $29.29

Duties and Responsibilities
* Process employee FMLA Requests and ADA Requests for reasonable accommodations; assist with drafting ADA Agreements
* Draft discipline documents, termination letters and other Employee Relations documents as needed
* Update and maintain Standard Operation Procedures for the ER Unit; update forms and templates
* Maintain files and shared drives cleanup
* Maintain/update intranet and SharePoint sites that contain Employee Relations content
* Serve as a notetaker and coordinator for internal investigations
* Track EEOC cases, investigations, grievances, terminations, and unemployment hearings; track timelines and notify parties of status
* Facilitate the Exit Interview process; conduct exit interviews
* Coordinate grievances
* Coordinate all Employee Recognition Programs; serve as the HR Ambassador for Employee Recognition and * Employee Engagement; plan events
* Conduct research for best practices in employment matters
* Assist County supervisors with Employee Assistance referrals; monitor visits for mandatory referrals for compliance purposes
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
* Associate's Degree in Human Resources or related field
* Two (2) pr more years' experience in HR at the para-professional level
Preferred:
* SHRM-CP certification
* One year of experience handling highly sensitive/confidential tasks in HR; and/or one year of experience working in a law firmClosing Date/Time:
