Office Services Manager – Administrative

This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative analysis, development and review of projects, and management of staff.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $52,582 - $71,531 (Hiring rate dependent upon applicant's qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will include coordination of and participation in the community-wide floodplain management program, public education programs, other outreach projects and assisting in filing for Federal, State and private grants. Position responsible for office support management functions which include but not limited to areas of HR, budget, payroll, personal matters, administrative functions and training. Responsible for management efforts related to admin support of IAS (International Accreditation Service), BCEGS (Building Code Effectiveness Grading System). Responsible for primary management efforts related to Hazard Mitigation Plan, Damage Assessment Coordination, CRS (Community Rating System); specifically around the continual tracking, updating and auditing of these processes. Manage or assist with the department EnerGov system.
Minimum Education: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher or combination of education and qualification experience. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Qualification: Nine (9) or more years' of experience in management, business, administration or similar with applicable experience in construction to include knowledge of building and construction principles and practices, building code and ordinances, State and Federal laws pertaining to construction and licensing or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work is acceptable. Advanced experience in word processing, data entry, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. Must obtain certifications as a Permit Technician and CFM (Certified Floodplain Management) 6 months, National Incident Management System (NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700, and 800), ICC (International Code Council) Legal, ICC Management, and others desired such as additional NIMS and other certifications within a future planned timeframe.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced experience with word processing, data entry, spreadsheets and development and execution of power point presentations and provide assistance to Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Crystal Report or SQL knowledge preferred and may become a requirement. Other duties as assigned. Must possess a valid SC Driver's license.Closing Date/Time: 1/2/2022 11:59 PM Eastern
