We are seeking a Senior Talent Engagement Partner to join our growing HR team and lead full-cycle recruitment for architecture and related technical positions across our firm. The position will be located in our office in Greenville, SC OR Birmingham, AL. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to hiring managers and leadership, developing strategic sourcing initiatives and championing a high-quality candidate experience. The Senior Recruiter will be instrumental in helping us attract top talent that aligns with GMC's mission to build communities.
Essential functions and responsibilities include:
Own the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across architecture, planning, engineering, and corporate support teams.Collaborate closely with studio leaders, project managers, and HR to understand staffing needs and forecast hiring.Source and engage qualified candidates using multiple channels, including LinkedIn, professional networks, industry job boards, and referrals.Create and manage candidate pipelines for high-demand roles and emerging needs across offices.Facilitate interview processes, schedule coordination, and feedback collection to ensure timely and efficient hiring.Craft compelling job descriptions that reflect GMC's values, work, and culture.Promote GMC's employer brand by representing the firm at career fairs, professional conferences, and industry networking events.Track and analyze recruiting metrics to improve effectiveness and ensure equitable hiring practices.Lead initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in our recruitment processes.Stay informed on industry trends and maintain a strong understanding of the architecture and design labor market.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Architecture, or a related field.5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in architecture, AEC (architecture/engineering/construction), or related industries.Proven success hiring technical professionals (e.g., architects, designers, project managers).Experience working in or with a mid-to-large multidisciplinary firm is highly preferred.Skilled in candidate sourcing, networking, and using ATS and recruiting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
Preferred
Prior experience recruiting within a firm like GMC (multidisciplinary, regional focus, community impact-driven).Familiarity with relevant licensure and certifications (e.g., AIA, NCARB, LEED).Knowledge of recruitment compliance, DEI best practices, and data-driven recruiting strategies.
